Accessibility

The Brno Museum, a contributory organisation, undertakes to make its website accessible in accordance with Act No.99/2019 Coll., on accessibility of websites and mobile applications and on amending Act No.365/2000 Coll., on public administration information systems and on amending certain other acts, as amended, which implements Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on accessibility of websites and mobile applications.

The accessibility statement applies to the following websites: www.muzeumbrnenska.cz and www.vilalowbeer.cz.

Structure of information

The structure of the information on the website was created according to the W3C HTML 5 specification and visually formatted with cascading style sheets (CSS 3) - the appearance of the website and its functionality are subordinated to the capabilities of disabled users. Compliance with the above standards should ensure that the content of the site is displayed correctly in most browsers and on most display devices.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with EN 301 549 V2 1.2 and WCAG 2.1 due to inaccessible content and/or exceptions listed below.

Content accessibility

The website also offers information in the form of DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX and PDF documents, mainly because they contain typographic elements and formatting that are not supported by the HTML web format or are too large, so we recommend downloading them. DOC and PDF formats are also more suitable for printing. Word Viewer and Acrobat Reader can be downloaded for free to view these documents. Some web browsers have built-in applications for viewing the above document formats.

Elaboration of accessibility statement

  • The accessibility statement was drawn up on 20 February 2021

This declaration has been drawn up following an assessment carried out by the third party technical operator of this website (LE CLAVERA s.r.o.). For the preparation of the declaration, Act No. 99/2019 Coll., and the methodological instruction of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic on this Act, EN 301 549 V2 1.2 and the internationally recognized standard Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1 were used.
