The Museum of Literature in Moravia

The museum is located in the Benedictine monastery in Rajhrad which has been under reconstruction for several years – and rises to a new life. Besides temporary exhibitions the museum offers the visit of permanent exhibitions introducing the most distinguished writers in Moravia from the beginning of the 9th century to the present date. Attention is also paid to the literature written in Moravian dialects and Moravian bibliophilic prints. The monastery and the museum tour is crowned by a visit to the newly restored Benedictine library.
